We recommend booking your travel health appointment at least 6–12 weeks before departure to allow time for any required vaccinations or preventative treatments.
Appointments
Travel Consultations are scheduled for 30 minutes with your chosen doctor or Nurse Practitioner.
If you are travelling to destination requiring Yellow Fever vaccine please book with NP Kylie Sharp or Dr Louise Sterling who have completed the appropriate training to prescribe.
They involve a comprehensive assessment of your travel plans, medical history and individual health risks. During your consultation, your practitioner will review your destinations, length of travel, planned activities, accommodation, vaccination history and any existing medical conditions to provide personalised advice and recommendations.
Some travellers may require multiple vaccinations, preventative medications or documentation for international travel. Booking a longer appointment ensures there is enough time to discuss all aspects of your travel health and helps you leave well-prepared for a safe and healthy journey.
