Dr. Joseph Gruner
Bio
We welcome Dr. Joe to the GSMC team in February 2026 for his GP Registrar placement led by The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
After growing up in the bushy Yarra Ranges, Joe started his medical journey at Deakin University. After four years in Geelong and moving to the Grampians with his now wife, he gained experience in women's health, paediatrics and rural general practice in Ararat, Maryborough and Ballarat.
Joe started GP training through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), starting 2025 with further training in Obstetrics and Emergency in Warragul, and General Practice in Trafalgar. He is interested in all areas of general practice and is accepting new antenatal appointments.
